Dive into the 2025 Gunnedah Swimming Carnival!

Join the Fun at the 2025 Gunnedah Swimming Carnival!

Did you know that Challenge Community Services hosts an incredible, inclusive swimming carnival every year for people with disabilities? Held annually in Gunnedah, NSW, this much-loved event brings together communities from across the state to celebrate talent, determination, and the spirit of friendly competition. None of this would be possible without the unwavering dedication of our Challenge Gunnedah staff and local volunteers, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen.

Last year marked a significant milestone as we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Gunnedah Swimming Carnival—our biggest and best event yet! Over 130 swimmers from across the northwest region, representing a wide range of disability providers, took to the pool to compete in swim races and novelty events. From first-time participants to seasoned competitors, everyone came together to showcase their skills, cheer each other on, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Were you one of the lucky swimmers who claimed a medal or cheered from the sidelines?

Now it’s time to dive back into the action because the 2025 Gunnedah Swimming Carnival is fast approaching. With even more participants, exciting events, and opportunities to connect with others, this year’s carnival promises to be the most memorable yet. Whether you’re a returning competitor or joining us for the first time, we’d love to see you in the pool, giving it your all and aiming for a spot on the podium. Registrations are now open, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible celebration of inclusivity and achievement!
