Disability Support Services

Choice, Inclusion & Independence

Helping you achieve the confidence and skills to live independently is very important to us at Challenge Community Services. We are here to support you as you pursue your dreams, goals, and aspirations.

Why Choose Challenge Community Services?

We provide Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation, Assistance with Daily Living, and Respite Care services to people all over New South Wales and Southern Queensland.

When you join our Challenge Family we help you with important life skills like cooking, learning how to use a computer or getting a job. If you simply want to relax, have fun and make new friends, you can come along to one of our many activities or events. Our services are supported by the Australian Government NDIS scheme, meaning that once your funding is allocated, it won’t cost you a thing.

Whatever your personal goals may be, we’re here to help you achieve them!

Helping You Live Independently

If you can look after yourself but need some extra help, our Assistance with Daily Living services can make it possible.
Assistance with Daily Living means you stay in your own home. A Challenge Disability Services team member will visit you in your home for several hours each week, depending on how much support you need.

Disability Support Locations

You will find a friendly Challenge community in the Hunter, Wollongong, Sydney, Central West, Mid North Coast, Western and New England regions of New South Wales as well as Southeast Queensland.

Are you passionate about helping people with disabilities to live fulfilling and meaningful lives?

Disability support workers provide essential assistance, care, and companionship to people with various physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities. They also empower people with disabilities to achieve their goals, develop new skills, build self confidence, and foster their independence and dignity. It’s an important and deeply rewarding career.

If you enjoy caring for others, we’d love to have you on our team!
