Tuesday, February 27th 2024 marked a significant milestone for Challenge Community Services with the opening of our new support office. This new office at 2/383 Goonoo Goonoo Road, Hillvue 2340 is an innovative and collaborative space that brings together our Support Services, Foster Care, and Allied Health Teams under one roof for the very first time. This move is a testament to our values of compassion, collaboration and promoting a people-focused view of among our teams and clients.
The opening of our Support Office signifies Challenge Community Services’ unwavering commitment to the Tamworth area, and our dedication to investing in new premises that will bolster support for communities not only in Tamworth but throughout regional New South Wales.
With close to 100 staff from three sites now consolidated at this central location, the Support Office will serve as a hub for excellence in community service provision. This move marks a pivotal moment in our journey, streamlining operations to better serve the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
The building was built with accessibility at the forefront and features the latest technology and modern amenities, including comfortable meeting rooms, spacious workstations, and private family rooms for our Foster Care and Allied Health clients.
Challenge Community Services has been providing support to people with disabilities for over 65 years. It all started with a small group of concerned Tamworth parents who wanted better futures for their children with disabilities. Today, the organisation has evolved to become one of the largest providers of Disability Support and Foster Care services in the state. We now employ over 1,000 people across 100 locations in NSW and South East QLD.
The new office further solidifies our commitment to our employees, the local community, and the people we serve.
