Waste No More was born from a partnership between Challenge Community Services and Tamworth Regional Council as a way to increase the amount of resources being saved from ending up in landfill, while providing valuable employment opportunities for people with a disability in the Tamworth region.
The result was the most unique second hand store in Tamworth!
More About Waste No More
We repurpose used items for sale, aiming to improve sustainability within the Tamworth community. We resume items from landfill that still have purpose and value, which is great news for the environment but even better news for you because it means your next treasure is waiting to be found.
We stock everything from furniture to tea cups, with our range always changing depending on the flow of sales and donations. We’re open to the public three days a week, so come down and have a browse.
Where Are We?
Our second hand store is located in West Tamworth at 6 Belmore St, Taminda.
We have plenty of parking available and we’re open 3 days a week.
Waste No More is run by a dedicated crew led by Gavin, our resident bargain curator. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday you’ll find them receiving donations, serving customers and delivering goods making sure the place runs smoothly.
In the spirit of Reconciliation, Challenge Community Services acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this country, and their connection to land, water and community. We pay our respect to them, their cultures and customs, and to Elders both past and present.
Challenge Community Services is proud to be an organisational member of Reconciliation NSW
