Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS support program where you can live with other people who also require some support, or on your own. Our friendly and qualified team members will be available to help you with everyday tasks like cooking, housework, and personal care. Each group of housemates is carefully selected to ensure a great mix, so you’ll be able to enjoy making new friends and socialising while developing your independence. We are here to support you in achieving your goals and living the life you want. Therefore, each house has slightly different programs to suit the residents and their individual needs.

Raceview is a leafy, family-friendly suburb in Ipswich, QLD, located about 3km southeast of the CBD. Known for its convenient location near the Cunningham Highway, it is a well-established area featuring local shops, schools, and parks like Manson Park.
Your Support and Funding
This home is staffed from 8 am to 8 pm most days, with a support ratio of 1:3.
Our staff are committed to providing you with a high level of support to develop and build life skills, including personal care, budgeting, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment, and social skills. We will encourage you to be active in the local community.
No SIL funding is required for this property. However, you must have a minimal level of NDIS funding of 28 hours per week, which can be made up of 01 (Assistance with Daily Life) and 04 (Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation) Core Supports budget. Challenge residential fees include your rent, food, utilities, home maintenance, internet access, basic Foxtel, communal appliances, and communal area furniture.
