Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS support program where you can live with other people who also require some support, or on your own. Our friendly and qualified team members will be available to help you with everyday tasks like cooking, housework, and personal care. Each group of housemates is carefully selected to ensure a great mix, so you’ll be able to enjoy making new friends and socialising while developing your independence. We are here to support you in achieving your goals and living the life you want. Therefore, each house has slightly different programs to suit the residents and their individual needs.

Currently, there is one vacancy available at this property, perfect for individuals with mild to moderate disabilities and/or mental health support needs, regardless of gender. Your future housemates are two men, aged 32 and 22, who value their independence and share a deep love for music and animals. They enjoy watching movies, spending time outdoors, and engaging in various activities like playing sports and dining out. They are looking forward to having a roommate who shares their interests in arts and crafts and cooking, creating a home environment where you can bond over creative projects and shared meals.

Your Support and Funding
Challenge will provide you with 24/7 support staff, including overnight sleepover or active support. Our staff are committed to providing you with a high level of support to develop and build life skills, including personal care, budgeting, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment, and social skills. We will encourage you to be active in the local community.
To live in this home, you must have NDIS funding for Supported Independent Living. Challenge residential fees include your rent, food, utilities, home maintenance, internet access, basic Foxtel, communal appliances, and communal area furniture.
