Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS support where you can live with other people with a disability or on your own. You will also receive support with everyday tasks like cleaning, cooking and personal care.

This modern home is in a quiet, family friendly area in Deebing Heights. With 2 separate living areas as well as a beautiful big back yard and outdoor entertaining area, there is plenty of room to enjoy to yourself or to spend time with your roommates. The large modern kitchen has gas cooking and is open plan to allow space for your culinary creativity to be unlocked.

About the Vacancy
Number of Vacancies = 1
This vacancy would suit a male between the ages of 25 and 45, who is semi-independent, enjoys their own company but also likes to socialise. Non smoker and ideally with 1:2 or 1:3 funding.
The current house members are males in their 30s who enjoy colouring, watching TV, going to movies, and outdoor activities like going to movie world and sea world. They attend Challenge Day Programs 4 days a week and enjoy getting out into the community with the Challenge team, going to the beach and the gym.
About the Area
Deebing Heights is just 15 minutes to Ipswich and 35 minutes to the Brisbane CBD. The home is located just 5 minutes drive from Yamanto Central where you will find shopping, pharmacies and medical services.
Support and Funding
Challenge provides 24/7 support staff, including overnight sleepover or active support. Our staff are committed to providing the house members with a high level of support to develop and build life skills including personal care, budgeting, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment and social skills. All house members are encouraged to be active in the local community.
Applicants must have NDIS funding for Supported Independent Living. Challenge residential fees include rent, food, utilities, home maintenance, internet access, basic Foxtel, communal appliances and communal area furniture.
