Tess is a Behaviour Support Practitioner who started at Challenge in June 2026 as a part of the East Maitland office. Tess graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2024, with a bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences.
Tess has worked within the NDIS sector since 2021, working as a support worker, team leader and case manager for various organisations over the years.
In her current role, Tess works with young people in out of home care and NDIS clients across the lifespan providing behaviour support interventions and plan development (including restrictive practices) to establish strategies for her clients to assist and manage behaviour.
Tess leads with an empathetic, non-judgemental approach and is passionate about delivering trauma-informed and person-centred support.
Outside of work, Tess volunteers in animal care, enjoys reading, spending time with friends & family and planning her next travel adventure!
