Emilee is a Social Worker who started with Challenge Allied Health February 2024 in Brisbane. Emilee brings a soft empathetic and non-judgemental approach when supporting her clients. Emilee is passionate about helping people achieve their goals as well as celebrating strengths and achievements along the way. Emilee feels privileged to be able to provide support to individuals and their families through her work at Challenge Community Services.
Emilee studied a Bachelor of Social Work at Griffith University and graduated at the end of 2021 and has a history of working with Children and Youth (specifically counselling Youth with mild to moderate mental health concerns). Emilee enjoys connecting with people and this is a pivotal aspect of her practice. Emilee believes this achieves long lasting results for recovery, so if you see her around, please feel free to stop and have a chat!
Outside of work Emilee enjoys writing songs, spending time with her friends and family, watching tv shows and movies and getting out in nature.
A fun fact about Emilee is that before commencing her university studies, she did singing professionally and made it to the top 100 contestants on The Voice Kids Australia and top 27 on The Xfactor Australia.
