We are here to provide you with a home away from home. We offer flexible, attractive and tailored accommodation choices to your individual needs. Our respite accommodation can support you to live independently while taking a break from family and carers. Breaks can be overnight, for a weekend or a few weeks. Respite can also be a fantastic option to help decide whether Supported Independent Living is right for you.

We recognise that you are unique and may have specific needs and so your stay will be planned based on your individual needs and goals. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to meet new people, discover new activities and develop your hobbies. To ensure that our staff understand your needs before your stay, you will be invited to visit our respite home to ensure the fit is right.

You’ll have the comfort of 24/7 staffing, ensuring peace of mind day and night, with a dedicated sleepover staff available. The spacious open-plan living areas welcome you with ample room to relax and entertain, while the twelve bedrooms provide cozy retreats for restful nights.

Step outside to enjoy the outdoor living area, where you can soak in the sunshine or dine al fresco amidst the calming surroundings. This fully accessible home is designed with your comfort in mind and can be easily split into two dwellings as needed, offering flexibility and convenience.

Conveniently located close to shops, medical facilities, parks, and recreation facilities, you’ll have easy access to everything you need for a comfortable stay. Whether you’re seeking relaxation indoors or outdoor adventures, this inviting holiday home promises a memorable retreat filled with warmth and tranquillity.


About the vacancy:

We are delighted to welcome guests of all ages, genders, and levels of support. If you need physical assistance, hoisting, or high levels of support, please bring your own lifting equipment and safety plans. Our availability will depend on compatibility with other participants and our capacity at the time of your inquiry. We look forward to accommodating you!

Challenge will provide you with 24/7 support staff, including overnight sleepovers or active support. Our staff are committed to providing you with a high level of support to develop and build life skills, including personal care, budgeting, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment, and social skills. We will encourage you to be active in the local community.

Short Term Accommodation, including respite, is funding for support and accommodation for a short time away from your usual home. It covers the cost of your care in another place for up to 14 days at a time. You might have a short stay with other people, or by yourself.
