Challenge Therapeutic Services are excited to announce that we have new premises at 13 Darling St, Tamworth (corner of Darling & Marius St).

Challenge Therapeutic Services has an experienced team of professionals who work to provide the highest quality interventions, treatments and behaviour supports. We can support you, your child or a family member by providing both psychology and mediation services. Our team of Psychologists are approved providers of NDIS and registered Medicare providers. We deliver personalised support in your family home, centre-based or in the community.

Helen Anglias is a registered Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience in her field. She is particularly passionate about her work with children, complex trauma and people of all ages with a disability. Helen is excited about the possibilities the NDIS will bring to people with a disability and hopes her leadership and experience in this area will benefit individuals and the communities they live in. As part of her practice Helen focusses on developing strategies and providing support tailored to participants’ individual environment and lifestyle, helping them to become more functional and productive in their life.

Kathleen Doolan is a registered Psychologist and AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor with a Masters of Educational and Developmental Psychology and is near completion of her PhD studies in Applied Behaviour Analysis.  Kathleen enjoys working with clients of all ages but is especially passionate about working with children, young people, their parents and carers. She values the use of evidenced based approaches to provide the most up to date and effective techniques and interventions. Kathleen’s motto for all people working with children and young people is to get “curious, not furious”. That is to focus on what is behind the behaviour rather than feeling overwhelmed by the behaviour itself.

Tina Milne is currently a Provisional Psychologist soon to be registered. Tina has a special interest in child protection and working alongside and supporting children and families who have experienced trauma. Tina practices and believes in the spirit of collaboration. She enjoys working as a team around the client and says wonderful things can be achieved for the client from doing so. Tina also has an interest in diagnostic assessments and says what we can learn together is exciting.

Kylie Boyraz is a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and is accredited with the Australian Mediation Association. Kylie has many years of experience with the family dispute resolution process and with families who present with complex issues. In addition to family dispute resolution and child-inclusive practice she also conducts workplace mediation, property and financial mediation and is an Accredited Facilitator for Family Group Conferencing. Kylie is passionate about human connections and reintroducing families and individuals to the parts that have been missing. Kylie believes strongly that in the middle of a difficulty lies a platform for opportunity and promotes this message in her practice.

Please drop into our new office at 13 Darling Street, Tamworth for more information.  We would be very happy to meet with you and discuss how together we can help you, or someone you care for improve relationships and reach personal goals.

About Challenge Community Services

Over 60 years ago we were a small band of parents and friends seeking support services for our children with disability. Today, Challenge has grown to be one of the largest community support services in New South Wales. We provide support to over 2500 people from Albury to Lismore, Sydney, Dubbo, Tamworth and beyond. With over 880 staff, 95 of which have a disability, we strive to comply with and exceed all standards required under State and Federal Acts.
In the spirit of Reconciliation, Challenge Community Services acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this country, and their connection to land, water and community. We pay our respect to them, their cultures and customs, and to Elders both past and present.
