Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS support program where you can live with other people who also require some support, or on your own. Our friendly and qualified team members will be available to help you with everyday tasks like cooking, housework, and personal care. Each group of housemates is carefully selected to ensure a great mix, so you’ll be able to enjoy making new friends and socialising while developing your independence. We are here to support you in achieving your goals and living the life you love. Therefore, each house has slightly different programs to suit the residents and their individual needs.

Your new home offers 4 client bedrooms with a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, two separate living rooms and an outdoor area perfect for summer barbecues and relaxing with friends. Please note, the home is not wheelchair accessible but limited mobility will not be an issue.

Your Support and Funding
Challenge will provide you with 24/7 support staff, including overnight sleepovers or active support. Our staff are committed to providing you with a high level of support to develop and build life skills, including personal care, budgeting, shopping, cooking, maintaining the living environment, and social skills. We will encourage you to be active in the local community.
To live in this home, you must have NDIS funding for Supported Independent Living, Individualised Living Options, Medium Term Accommodation or Short Term Accommodation. Challenge residential fees include your rent, food, utilities, home maintenance, internet access, basic Foxtel, communal appliances, and communal area furniture.
