We need to shift our thinking from ‘What is wrong with you?’ to ‘What happened to you’ – Sandra Bloom

We are thrilled to invite you to join our Community of Practice (CoP) on Trauma-Informed: Responding to Pain-based behaviours. This is a collaborative space designed to deepen our understanding and enhance our application of trauma-informed principles in everyday practice.

What is a Community of Practice?

  • Exploring the trauma-informed principle within the CARE framework.
  • Understanding pain-based behaviours and strategies for responding to them
  • Sharing practical strategies for creating safe environments for children through therapeutic relationships.
  • Reflecting on our practices and learning from one another’s experiences.

  • Date: 18th March 2025
  • Time: 10am-11:30am
